Minecraft Tutorial: How to Build a Large Modern House #2

Hey how’s it going guys hope you’re good
today we’re going to be building my second large modern house now this house
features a minimalist design being mainly composed of only two materials
and on top of that it also features this nice swimming pool out front now moving
on to the inside we could see that there’s a large open space for you to
fill with whatever you want this is how I set it up but of course you can add
more balls and I only did two fours but there’s room for three without further
ado let’s get right into it starting with the material list so we’re going to start off by laying
out the foundation so we’re going to lay out 17 blocks of polished diorite so next we’re going to make another
polished diorite wall we’re going to go the third block in and go across nine and now we’re going to repeat the same
step on the other side so go third block in and go across nine and then we’re
going to connect the three row so you should have a shape like this so now
we’re going to make the walls on the other side using quartz blocks so
starting at the back here we’re going to go from the third walk in and go across
11 so from the corner we’re going to go down 13 blocks and then we will go right seven blocks
and then at the end we’re just going to add two more blocks and that’s it for
the foundation so for the first step we’re gonna race the center wall that
goes through the whole house of ten blocks using polished diorite next we’re going to raise this polished
diorite wall that goes around the right side of the house of four blocks now we’re going to raise all the courts
up 8 after all the corpses been raised up
eight you’re going to go to the frontier and raise the square up one more block now we’re going to go over to this
polished diorite wall and go up the fourth block and place a quartz border
going all the way around the wall and now you’re going to extend this border
of four blocks so now we’re going to start building the
frame that goes around the doorway so going through this polished diorite wall
off a front go up four and n1 and then place three quartz blocks and place
three blocks of dye right going up and two going across this will hold the door
now we’re going to make a window so place another three blocks of quartz on
top leave a two block gap and place another two rows of quartz blocks now
we’re going to build a small roof that goes over the walkway so place a 3×3
section of quartz slab now we’re going to start doing the roof that goes around
the left side of the building making it to right up the front and one wide up
the side and back and place one flap here and now you can
go ahead and fill in the roof with quartz blocks if you don’t want
skylights you can fill it in with quartz slabs and this will give you more room
to make a third floor so now that we have filled in the roof
we can start making the window so going to the front left corner go over one and
build up six leave a one block gap make another six eye window leave a one block
gap and make another six eye window now we’re going to move over to the right
side go three blocks in and one block from the bottom and make three five high
windows so moving up to the roof we’re going to do the skylight so going across
three and down two we’re going to make a two by seven skylight and then leave a
two block gap and then we’ll make another two by seven one though so
moving on to the right side we’re going to go right next to the dividing wall
and make a two by five window and moving up we’re going to go right in the middle
which is two blocks down go two blocks across and then go all the way to the
corner and then three blocks past the corner and we will do the same thing on
the back I accidentally started this window at the dividing wall you’re
supposed to leave two blocks in between so now we will make the same two by five
window that we did on the front and moving over to the side we’re going to
make two by three windows one block from the corner now we’ll make the skylights
on the right side of the roof we’re going to leave five blocks to the left
and go down two blocks and make the one by five window and then we’re going to leave one block
in between make another one by five-window leave one block in between
make another one by 500 now we can start filling in the skylights with black
stained glass and fill in the other windows using black stained glass panes you now you can build quartz blocks around
this window above the door just to make it look a bit more finished now we’re
going to make the pathway out front so digging a three block wide pack we’re
going to fill it with stone and on each side we will put stones well now before we get started on the inside
we’re going to make the pool that goes out front so starting at the front left
corner place two blocks of polished diorite build down z and then build
across eight and raise up this last block now we will dig the pool it is
five by seven and we’re going to make it two blocks I chose to fill the bottom of the pool
with quartz blocks but of course you can fill it in with any design you like and
I did the first layer of the side using glowstone so that the pool lights up the
front of the house at night then I just placed the top border using quartz
blocks now of course we can fill it in with water and to finish it off we’ll put a border
of glass panes now we’re going to start the interior first off we’re going to
need to remove some of this polished diorite wall so we’re going to remove a
six block wide section and now we can replace these two blocks with stone and
then now you can fill on your flooring of choice for the flooring I use jungle planks and
jungle slabs but of course you could choose any other floor that you like if
you want me to do a video of me decorating the inside of this house
leave a comment down below letting me know so now we’re going to place the
staircase using pork slabs so starting at the corner of this polished diorite
wall place four sets of quartz slabs and then from there you can build your
second floor so next we’re going to place some
glowstone underneath these windows to light up the front a bit more at night and lastly place your double front door and that’s it if you enjoyed the video
please leave a like and subscribe it helps a lot and also I won’t mind if you
left a comment telling me what else you want to see me build but anyways I’ll
catch you guys in the next video
