about

Carbon Limited is the low carbon energy blog of Casey Cole.

Casey, 36 37 38, is a Director at Fontenergy, a low-carbon distributed energy consultancy, and Insite Energy, a meter reading, billing, and customer care company, both in London.

Born and raised on the west coast of the US, I now live in London with my wife and two sons. This blog is an outlet for ideas I come across at work or in the wider world.

I’m a fan of applying common sense, doing the numbers, and accepting other people’s arguments if they’re better than mine. I’m not so keen on green hype, the Daily Mail, people flogging products, Twitter, or the idea that pessimism somehow equals pragmatism.

Bizarrely, like fellow green blogger Mel Starrs, I also share a name with a p0rn star. So if you’re looking for that Casey Cole, this blog is going to be a real disappointment.

If you see something that interests you, please leave a comment or get in touch via the contact page. Happy reading.
